Shantz had 13 years of development experience working as John Q. Hammons general counsel and advisor prior to moving into the LITC world. Debbie entered the Affordable Housing world with a set of questions: “What if a housing development could offer more than just housing? “What kinds of services would really impact residents lives in a positive way?” She found the answers by creating strategic partnerships with the non-profit organizations already entrenched in the community. Debbie inspires communities to work together to provide the essential support services necessary to break the cycle of poverty.
As a tax credit specialist, Debbie has a command of Low Income Tax credits, both state and federal.
